Common Use For This Medicine
1- For the treatment of FUNGAL INFECTION OF THE EYE
How To Use This Medicine
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the label, unless instructed differently by your doctor
* WASH hands prior to administration.
* Tilt head back, pull the lower eyelid down and away from the eyeball to form a pocket. Look up and place medication in
pocket.
* Continue to hold the eyelid for a moment to allow the medication to run in the eye. Close eyes for 1-2 minutes.
* While the eyes are closed, apply gentle pressure to the inside corner of your eye. If you have recently had eye surgery, skip
this step.
* To help clear up your infection completely, FINISH COURSE OF THERAPY, even if your condition has improved.
* SHAKE well before using.
What To Do If You Miss A Dose
Take when remembered unless time for next dose. No double doses.
How To Store This Medicine
Keep in original closed container in a dark, cool, and dry place away from children. Discard unneeded medicine.
Other Side Effects
Blurred vision; Swelling; Engorgement of blood.
If symptoms are mild but do not go away or are bothersome, check with your doctor. IF ANY OF THE ABOVE SIDE EFFECTS IS SEVERE,
CALL YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY.
Precautions And Warnings
* Safety of use during pregnancy has not been established. This medicine SHOULD NOT BE USED DURING PREGNANCY unless benefit
justifies potential risk to the fetus. CALL YOUR DOCTOR.
* Notify physician if stinging, burning, itching, redness, irritation, swelling, decreasing vision or pain persists or worsens.
* Do not wear contact lenses unless instructed by your physician.
* If your physician considers contact lens use to be appropriate, wait at least 15 minutes after using this medication before
inserting lenses.
* Steroid medication may worsen the infection. Do not take steroid medication unless instructed by your doctor.
